POLARIS - New collection at Danish Art Weaving

Polaris is a multifunctional and duo-coloured upholstery made from recycled plastic bottles/polyester.
The fabric consists of 98% post-consumer recycled material that would otherwise have gone to waste. The used bottles are shredded into small flakes, melted into tiny pellets that are transformed into yarns, which are eventually woven into textile.
The entire recycling process results in lower CO2 emissions than the process of making new polyester yarns. Polaris is also STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified.
The fabric combines modern performance and excellent flexibility with a warm, casual look and a soft touch.
The only limit to where Polaris can be used is your imagination. Whether you're going for the classic look or aiming to challenge the standard in your interior, Polaris is a great choice.
The Polaris colour palette is inspired by the colours of nature, giving the upholstery a warm and soft look with a light dimension. Polaris offers 50 colour options ranging from nature's own colours to grey, burgundy, soft pink and a range of green and blue shades.
