About Danish Art Weaving A/S
Since 1949, DAW has manufactured and supplied upholstery fabrics of very high quality. Our main office is situated in Tylstrup north of Aalborg, but we deliver to the contract market, furniture manufacturers, upholsterers and furniture shops all over the country. DAW is also a reputed supplier of furniture textiles for large public cultural and administrative buildings at home and abroad – among others in Copenhagen, Oslo, Toronto, Ontario and St. Petersburg.
Our company values consist partly of respect for the traditions of our craft and partly of a genuine curiosity for development and innovation. On top of that is a sharp awareness that first and foremost, furniture fabrics must live up to the wishes, needs and demands of the consumers – be it in terms of quality and design or durability and maintenance.
We mainly work with natural materials – wool, cotton and flax. And it is a priority to minimize the negative environmental effects throughout the production of our textiles.
Apart from our own collection we also retain the dealership in Denmark for a number of other internationally renowned brands such as JAB Anstoetz and Alcantara.
